Toyota cars will be expensive from April, this is the reason for increasing the price

New Delhi : Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) will increase the prices of its cars from April. Earlier, Maruti Suzuki and Hero MotoCorp have announced to increase the prices of their vehicles from next month.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor said that the company will increase the prices of its models from April 1, 2021. The company said that this increase in prices is to reduce the burden of increased cost.

The company said, “In such difficult times, it has been our endeavor that we bear the impact of cost through internal measures. Hence, a very small portion will be visible to the customers in the form of increase in prices.

TKM sold 14,075 vehicles in February 2021. In this way, it had registered a growth of 36 percent in the domestic market as compared to February 2020.

Earlier, Maruti Suzuki India and Hero MotoCorp had announced to increase the prices of their vehicles from April. On Tuesday, Hero MotoCorp increased the prices of its motorcycles and scooters by up to Rs 2,500. He had also cited rising input cost as the reason behind increasing the price.

Maruti Suzuki, while announcing the increase in the prices of vehicles, had said that the increase in input cost in different ways has affected the cost. Hence, there is no option but to increase the prices from April 2021. The price hike will be different for different cars.
