Why are prices increasing
Swedish car manufacturer Volvo said in a statement that the continuous disruption in the global supply chain increases the logistics cost, which also has a direct impact on the input cost. In view of this, the prices are being increased. The company, however, has not increased the prices for the interests of its customers who have booked their cars till date.
Volvo Car India Managing Director Jyoti Malhotra said that Volvo said that from Friday the prices of select models of the company will increase. Rising global inflation has forced us to increase the prices of cars for our consumers.
